Memory Mug Commission
All Memory Mugs are commission pieces, they take 3-5 weeks for production, depending upon images the consultation.
The Memory Mug consultation involves a virtual meeting (or face to face if located in Melbourne can be arranged), in the meeting we will discuss what image you prefer and timing for production, Ali will always try to meet deadlines, but the clay process involves drying time, kiln time and production.
We will talk through the design of the art to be applied to the mug. Ali will ask for photos to be provided of the pet(s), building or scene, noting that these will be small moments, not full vistas.
Once any photos are received Ali will create a simple drawing to give a guide to the artwork to be applied to the bowl for your approval. Ali will also ask if there is a short message you would like written on the base of the bowl. Then the making starts!!!
Ali will provide progress shots, sometimes these are great to share with a group of gift givers, but please keep the mug a surprise for the receiver!! The look on a face when they open the gift box is always a joy.
